Midweek Rambles
  • Leaders: Pat and Bill
  • Area: Malvern Hills (northern end)
  • Distance: am: 5 miles, pm: 3 ¼ miles
  • Stiles: None
  • Start: 10 am.
  • Lunch: 12:45 – 13:45 at Railway Inn (SO 772439), 5 mins walk south from start. Morning walkers return to cars on way to pub. If joining at lunch, park at start location, walk to pub and be ready to go on without returning to cars.
  • Description:

“Virtually a figure-of-eight. Morning: past Earnslaw Quarry Lake taking in North Hill, the second-highest Malvern summit (the final slog up can be missed by those who so wish). Afternoon: a long gentle climb in the shade to reach the ridge south of the Wyche Cutting.”
