  • Distance: am 6.7 miles/10.7 km; pm 4.9 miles/7.8 km
  • Terrain: Undulating and well maintained paths AM. Field and forest paths PM. May be muddy if wet.
  • Lunch: Approximately 12.30 pm, Wyre Forest Visitor Centre. Bring your own picnic lunch. There are toilet facilities at the Visitor Centre.

  • Description:

“An exploration of the Wyre Forest around the historic port of Bewdley, taking in parts of the North Worcestershire Path along the River Severn and the Geopark Way along Dowles Brook. We pass the remains of a railway bridge and old water mills before returning via Ribbesford and the Church of St Leonard with its atmospheric churchyard.”
