Short Rambles
  • Leaders:  Geoff and Rachel
  • Area: Clifford Chambers
  • Start Time: 10.00 am
  • Terrain: A gentle walk across farmland and along the River Avon. Short descent to a weir before returning across pastureland. Shouldn’t be too muddy!
  • Distance:  5.7 miles / 9.2 km
  • Lunch: 12.30 pm, The New Inn, Clifford Chambers, Menus and orders will be sorted at the beginning of the ramble. Pease let me know if you are likely to stay so that I can give the pub an idea of numbers beforehand.

“Our route takes us along tracks and footpaths, with a short section along the disused railway and Shakespeare’s Avon Way, following the River Avon to Stratford-upon-Avon and crossing the River Stour.”
