Midweek Rambles
  • Leader:  Charles
  • Area: Painswick / Slad
  • Start: 10.00 am
  • Distance: am 4.3 miles / 6.9 kms; pm 4.5 miles / 7.2 kms (short cuts available)
  • Terrain: Field, woodland and minor roads. Some wet patches early. Several hills, none very long.
  • Lunch: 12.30 pm, The Woolpack Inn, Slad
  • Description:

“We go down the Painswick Valley, then cross over the end of the ridge into the Slad Valley. In the afternoon we go north, back over the ridge, then up the Valley to Damsells Mill and Farm, before returning to Painswick.”
