February Sunday Ramble 2020
Feb 23 all-day
  • Leaders: Alan & Pauline Saunders
  • Area: Ullenhall
  • Start: 9.00 am
  • Distance: am 7 miles / 11.3 km; pm 4.5 miles / 7.2 km
  • Terrain: Mainly grassy fields, quiet lanes and woodland. In the morning, there is one gentle slope and the same in the afternoon. There are some muddy areas and gateways where sticks would be useful.
  • Lunch: 1.00 pm, The Winged Spur, Ullenhall, Deadline Thursday 20th February, please.
  • Description:

“A scenic figure of eight walk in the Warwickshire countryside, taking in Morton Bagot, Bannam’s Wood, Blunt’s Green and Danzey Green. The route follows parts of The Arden Way, the Heart of England Way and the Millennium Way.”

March Chairman’s Ramble & AGM 2020

  • Area: Flyford Flavell, Dormston, Bishampton
  • Start: 9.00 am
  • Distance: am 6.2 miles / 10 km; pm 5.8 miles / 9.3 km
  • Terrain: No significant climbs. Mostly pasture. Could be very wet and muddy!
  • Lunch: 12.15 – 1.00 pm.,The Boot Inn, Flyford Flavell, Please send orders when you book the ramble.
  • Tea & AGM: 4.30 pm.,  Lower Moor Village Hall
  • Description:

“In the morning we head north along the Millennium Way towards Dormston, returning to The Boot Inn along the edge of Grafton Wood following the Wychavon Way. The afternoon follows footpaths to Bishampton and Abberton, returning to our starting point along the Wychavon Way.”
