Our route is on tracks\, woodland paths\, pastureland and quiet lanes. We cross an arable field and there is a permissive farm track that may be muddy after rain.\n\n\n\nDistance: 5.5 miles\n\n\n\nDescription:\n\n\n\n\n” Right from the outset we have a glimpse of the Malverns as we leave the outskirts of Hanley Castle and continue to enjoy these splendid views as we take in the Worcestershire countryside that lies between the Malvern Ridge and the River Severn.” \n\n\n\nAfter the ramble : \n\n\n\nClose to the end of the walk we pass Grade II listed The Three Kings Inn\, owned by the same family for over a century\, and for those who want to ‘step back in time’ we’ll stop by for a pint or a coffee (cash only). We then follow the path of the disused railway track to The Valley where there will be a refreshment stop.
