DESCRIPTION:Members may view additional information by clicking  here. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nLeader: Hazel and Paul\n\n\n\nArea: Birdlip and Brimpsfield\, Gloucs\n\n\n\nStart: 9.30 am\n\n\n\nDistance: a.m. 6 miles; p.m. 6 miles\n\n\n\nTerrain: Open tracks\, lanes. Also some woodland\, where it is likely to be very muddy\, depending on how wet January has been. Be prepared. Only a couple of steep ups and downs.\n\n\n\nLunch: 12:30 p.m.\n\n\n\na fairly short stop so that drinks and snacks can be eaten.  There is a planned ‘late lunch’ after the ramble\n\n\n\nDescription: \n\n\n\n\n“A great walk with plenty of open spaces and views of the surrounding villages and landscapes. Clear footpaths with some steep sections. A few stiles and some mud. Walking poles recommended.\n\n\n\nLunch: 12:30 p.m. \n\n\n\nPub Lunch\n\n\n\nDescription: \n\n\n\n\n“A couple of challenging climbs leading to the top of Dover’s Hill\, where you’ll be rewarded with stunning panoramic views. We then descend through The Lynches Wood to Willersey. Along the way\, you’ll hear fascinating history and the tale of a doomed love affair. As we will be walking over farmland\, through woods and along some bridle paths it will be muddy if there has been any substantial rain.\n\n\n\nLunch: approx 12:30 p.m.\n\n\n\nPicnic\n\n\n\nDescription: \n\n\n\n\n“A lovely circular walk with great views of the Warwickshire countryside.
