We then follow the path of the disused railway track to The Valley where there will be a refreshment stop. DESCRIPTION:Members may view additional information by clicking here \n\n\n\n\n\n\nLeaders: Paul and Hazel\n\n\n\nArea: Welcombe Hills Nature Reserve and Stratford-upon-Avon\n\n\n\nStart: 10.00 am\n\n\n\nDistance: am 6 miles; pm 4 miles\n\n\n\nTerrain: Some steep hills\, but also canal and town walking.\n\n\n\nLunch: Around 12.00 – 12.30 pm\, Stratford-upon-Avon\, Drinks / food can be purchased in Stratford or take a picnic. Largely flat and no stiles.\n\n\n\nDistance:  5.5 miles\n\n\n\nDescription:\n\n\n\n\n“This walk combines elements of three walks in the Heart of England Forest Spernal area. We will follow alongside the River Arrow for a while before heading to College Wood with its views of Spernal and Studley Castle. Could be muddy in places.\n\n\n\nLunch: Approximately 1.00 pm\, Close to Wood Bevington Manor. Please bring a picnic lunch.\n\n\n\nDescription: \n\n\n\n\n“A circular walk which takes in a number of ancient woods and quaint villages and hamlets such as Abbots Morton and Wood Bevington.
