DESCRIPTION:Members may view additional information by clicking here \n\n\n\n\n\n\nLeaders: Paul and Hazel\n\n\n\nArea: Welcombe Hills Nature Reserve and Stratford-upon-Avon\n\n\n\nStart: 10.00 am\n\n\n\nDistance: am 6 miles; pm 4 miles\n\n\n\nTerrain: Some steep hills\, but also canal and town walking.\n\n\n\nLunch: Around 12.00 – 12.30 pm\, Stratford-upon-Avon\, Drinks / food can be purchased in Stratford or take a picnic. We then follow the path of the disused railway track to The Valley where there will be a refreshment stop. SUMMARY:May 24 Evening Ramble
DESCRIPTION:Members may view additional information by clicking  here. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nLeaders: Andy and Emily\n\n\n\nArea: Heightington\n\n\n\nStart Time: 4.30 pm\n\n\n\nTerrain:  Mostly hilly fields; a few very steep wooded inclines with challenging footing; six stiles.\n\n\n\nDistance: 5.2 miles\n\n\n\nDescription:\n\n\n\n\n“A repeat of our July 2023 walk\, we hope with less rain! We cross steep farmland\, dipping down to and up from wooded streams\, with a 17th century farmhouse and a hidden damson orchard along the way. Some of the gullies are very challenging and you are encouraged to bring walking sticks.” \n\n\n\nAt the end we hope to sample some fine craft beer at a one-man brewery in a barn.
