DESCRIPTION:Members may view additional information by clicking  here \n\n\n\n\n\n\nLeaders:  Lesley and Trevor\n\n\n\nArea:  Wood Stanway \n\n\n\nStart Time:10 am\n\n\n\nTerrain: Clearly defined paths\, some hill climbing which gives views out to Dumbleton and beyond. It will be muddy and wet with a steep descent at the end of the walk. There are a number of stiles and kissing gates in varying states of repair. You will need waterproofs\, boots and water.\n\n\n\nDistance: 5 miles\n\n\n\nDescription:\n\n\n\n\n” We will take the Winchcombe Way towards the village of Stanway and from here we take the footpath through Lidcombe Wood towards Park Farm. A footpath then takes us to the small village of Taddington. DESCRIPTION:Members may view additional information by clicking  here \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLeaders: Alan and Pauline\n\n\n\nArea: Hanley Castle\n\n\n\nStart Time: 10 am\n\n\n\nTerrain: This is a flat walk with one gentle incline. Our route is on tracks\, woodland paths\, pastureland and quiet lanes. We cross an arable field and there is a permissive farm track that may be muddy after rain.\n\n\n\nDistance: 5.5 miles\n\n\n\nDescription:\n\n\n\n\n” Right from the outset we have a glimpse of the Malverns as we leave the outskirts of Hanley Castle and continue to enjoy these splendid views as we take in the Worcestershire countryside that lies between the Malvern Ridge and the River Severn.” \n\n\n\nAfter the ramble : \n\n\n\nClose to the end of the walk we pass Grade II listed The Three Kings Inn\, owned by the same family for over a century\, and for those who want to ‘step back in time’ we’ll stop by for a pint or a coffee (cash only). The terrain is mostly flat. There is one stile. If there has been lots of rain before the ramble\, bring your walking sticks as some of the ramble is alongside a river and/or streams so could be very muddy.\n\n\n\nLunch: l pm\n\n\n\nWhere: The Frog\, 65 High Street\, Bidford-on-Avon\n\n\n\nThe AGM:\n\n\n\nWhen: Refreshment 3.00 pm / AGM 3.30 pm\n\n\n\nWhere: Cleeve Prior Heritage Trust\, Field Barn\, Evesham Road\, Cleeve Prior\n\n\n\nDetails: After the walk\, we are holding the AGM\, an important event in the club’s calendar when we give a brief report on the past year and elect officers for the coming year.  \n\n\n\nTea / coffee and cake (including GF/VE) will be provided by the Trustees at £6 per head.
