Weekend of 10,11,12 July 2015
The 1066 Country Walk traces the footsteps of William the Conqueror from his landing at Pevensey via Battle where his victory over King Harold changed the course of English history, to finish at Rye.
The total distance of the walk will be 32 miles spread over the three days.
It makes a superb long weekend walk and is fairly easy with low level starting at Pevensey Castle East Sussex. We have a choice of camping, bringing your mobile camping van/caravan or B &B accommodation.
