• August 16 Evening Ramble

We start and end at The Oak Inn in Upton Snodsbury. We leave the village and head across farmland towards Broughton Hackett. Before we get anywhere near the village of Broughton Hacket (it is a Friday evening and it’s 'all you can eat' carvery at The March Hare, so we will stay away from the chaos!), we veer left and head towards the pretty little village of White Ladies Aston.
We complete a small loop around the village of White Ladies Aston before heading back towards Cowsden and then to our start point.

  • August 30 Evening Ramble

Starting from ‘The Green’, we head south along Snowshill Road to West End where we pick up a footpath heading steeply uphill from Pye Corner, across very prominent ridge and furrow. From here we can take in the views across to The Bank and Dulverton Hill, possibly catching a glimpse of Broadway Tower. At Manor Farm we take the path out towards the village of Laverton from where we pick up the Winchcombe Way towards the village of Buckland. Here we leave the Winchcombe Way and follow the footpath through Broadway Coppice and then head downhill crossing West End Lane, taking the path round the Flood Alleviation scheme back into Broadway.

A nice gentle walk around Spernall Park in the Heart of England Forest. Will be some good views if the weather is clear.

  • June 13 Evening Ramble

Leaving Willersery, we take a steady climb to reach Foxhill Manor, one of the leading hotels in the area. We then descend to Broadway via Bibsworth Covert.
On reaching Broadway, we take a footpath behind the High Street and follow clear paths and field tracks to reach a disused railway line, which we follow back to Willersey.
After the walk there will be an opportunity for a drink at The New Inn.
Please park considerately on the side of the main street.

  • August 29 Evening Ramble

This is our third summertime romp across the rollercoaster landscape of the hills north of Abberley. We’ll pass a 17th-century farmhouse and a hidden damson orchard. You are encouraged to bring walking sticks, and we’ll be walking fairly quickly and thirstily because the aim, as always, is to end by enjoying Worcestershire’s finest craft beer, at a brewery in a barn which shuts at 8pm. There will be a pop-up food stand – if you might want to eat, please indicate this in your booking and we’ll send you the menu to choose from shortly before the day, so they hold back food for our arrival (the place is very popular on summer evenings). Please bring £1 to pay for parking at the Village Hall.

  • October 5 Moonlight Ramble

Starting from Overbury we will head up through the Overbury Estate towards the Belt and Sundial Farm. We will then head towards Banbury Tower and follow the escarpment before heading back down towards Overbury. Will we see the Beast of Bredon?
