February Sunday Ramble
A couple of challenging climbs leading to the top of Dover’s Hill, where you’ll be rewarded with stunning panoramic views. We then descend through The Lynches Wood to Willersey. Along the way, you’ll hear fascinating history and the tale of a doomed love affair. After lunch the walk continues to Broadway, passing Foxhill Manor, before returning to the starting point along a disused railway line.

March Saturday Short
A scenic circular walk from the Vale Golf and Country Club following the Jubilee Walk towards Rous Lench and then taking the Wychavon Way up into and through Yeald Wood and Old Yew Hill Wood. We pass through the villages of Kempley and Dymock, both having fascinating churches – St Mary’s containing the Dymock Poets Exhibition, St Mary’s Kempley (English Heritage) with its 12th century frescoes and St Edward’s, Kempley – cathedral of the Arts and Crafts Movement.

Chair’s Ramble & AGM March 2026
This year the Chair has chosen her favourite Vale of Evesham circular walk (Walk 5) for my Chair’s ramble. It is a delightful circular walk taking in the villages of Charlton and Cropthorne with lovely views over the River Avon and our great local countryside.

April Short Ramble
We return to Mickleton but a different route from the January short ramble. We climb Bakers Hill then follow the Monarch Way to Hidcote Bartrim and then return past Hidcote Manor and Kiftsgate Court.

April Evening Ramble
A nice and easy walk to start off our series of Friday evening walks in 2026. The walk is almost entirely on quiet roads, well-made farm tracks and well-maintained pathways. We will skirt around a couple of fields but nothing challenging under foot. Even if it has been raining, mud should not be a problem. Sunset is predicted to be at 6.30pm, so the latter stages of the walk will likely be in a degree of darkness. Please bring a torch, or your phone, to light the way.

April Sunday Ramble 2026
Varied walk, hopefully something of interest to everyone. Bluebells should be out. Weather permitting lunch with a view from May Hill.
