• Terrain:  Mostly hilly fields; a few very steep wooded inclines with challenging footing; six stiles.
• Distance: 5.2 miles
• Description:

“A repeat of our July 2023 walk, we hope with less rain! We cross steep farmland, dipping down to and up from wooded streams, with a 17th century farmhouse and a hidden damson orchard along the way. Some of the gullies are very challenging and you are encouraged to bring walking sticks.”

At the end we hope to sample some fine craft beer at a one-man brewery in a barn. The brewery shuts at 8.00 pm, and there will be a pop-up food stand there – if you want to eat, please indicate this in your booking and we’ll send you the menu closer to the date to choose from in advance so they hold back food for our arrival after the walk.
