August 16 Evening Ramble

  • Leaders: Paul and Fran
  • Area:  Upton Snodsbury – Broughton Hacket – White Ladies Aston 
  • Start Time: 5.30 pm
  • Terrain: Almost exclusively farmland, so could be muddy if it has been raining. Chances of livestock in the fields and there are some stiles. But mostly flat terrain. 
  • Distance:  5.4 miles
  • Description: ” We start and end at The Oak Inn in Upton Snodsbury. We leave the village and head across farmland towards Broughton Hackett. Before we get anywhere near the village of Broughton Hacket (it is a Friday evening and it’s ‘all you can eat’ carvery at The March Hare, so we will stay away from the chaos!), we veer left and head towards the pretty little village of White Ladies Aston.
    We complete a small loop around the village of White Ladies Aston before heading back towards Cowsden and then to our start point.”
