    A short circular ramble through the attractive countryside around the old Roman town of Alcester taking in Oversley Wood and the River Arrow.

  • December Sunday Ramble

    A figure of eight walk taking in some beautiful Oxfordshire countryside. The morning will take us to Lidstone and then through Heythrop Park. Take a dip in an ancient bathing pool if you dare. The afternoon is a shorter walk which takes us through Church Enstone and past a waterfall.

  • January Saturday Short

    A gentle stroll around the Arrow Valley Country Park with guest leaders Noelin and Simon. Mostly on well surfaced paths, though if the weather permits we will be going down a few bridleways with the inevitable mud.

  • January Midweek Ramble

    The route goes south near the River Severn towards Earl’s Croome, but then turns north towards Knight’s Hill and Clifton. We walk the Severn Way along the river to return to the pub. There should be plenty of ducks and geese.

  • January Short Ramble

    A gentle, undulating walk from Mickleton taking in Thistly Hill and Dairy Hills, before reaching Bakers Hill, where we walk back down to Mickleton.

    A great walk with plenty of open spaces and views of the surrounding villages and landscapes. We visit the attractive villages of Brimpsfield and Caudle Green

  • February Saturday Short

    Right from the outset we have a glimpse of the Malverns as we leave the outskirts of Hanley Castle and continue to enjoy these splendid views as we take in the Worcestershire countryside that lies between the Malvern Ridge and the River Severn.

    A pleasant walk through lovely scenery to the hamlet of Charlton Abbots and back.

    Find out about Droitwich’s Salt Heritage on this relaxing ramble taking in parts of the Wychavon Way, Vines and Lido Parks and rolling countryside.

  • February Sunday Ramble

    A couple of challenging climbs leading to the top of Dover’s Hill, where you’ll be rewarded with stunning panoramic views. We then descend through The Lynches Wood to Willersey. Along the way, you’ll hear fascinating history and the tale of a doomed love affair. After lunch the walk continues to Broadway, passing Foxhill Manor, before returning to the starting point along a disused railway line.

  • March Saturday Short

    A scenic circular walk from the Vale Golf and Country Club following the Jubilee Walk towards Rous Lench and then taking the Wychavon Way up into and through Yeald Wood and Old Yew Hill Wood. Heading out of the wood we walk uphill towards Church Lench before heading back to the Golf Club across open countryside.
