July Midweek Ramble
From the car park we take the footpath south out to Sutton-under-Brailes, here we cross the green and take the footpath out towards the village of Cherington. In Cherington we cross summer pastures which run alongside the River Stour. Note: it can be rather wet across these fields. In Cherington we join the Shakespeare Way, the views back towards Shipston and The Bailes are wonderful. From here we continue on to Whichford Wood. Once in the wood we leave the Shakespeare Way and join the Macmillan Way this heads east to the village of Whichford. In Whichford we hope to take a short rest at the pottery, if open. Once refreshed we will take a footpath out north towards North Leasow Farm. From here we take a path downhill to cross another large tributary which feeds the River Stour. The path eventually arks round towards the village of Stourton where we cross a number of fields, finally crossing the River Stour. Then back to the outskirt of Sutton-under-Brailes.. The path then takes us north east alongside the Sutton Brook, passing Brailes Golf Course and back into the village of Lower Brailes via the 99 steps.

August Midweek Ramble
This is a circular walk. Following The Diamond Way and The Warden’s Way, we head south from Guiting Power towards Naunton, before joining The Windrush Way. This leads us over Windrush Hill and the site of the Medieval Village of Hawling, to the edge of Guiting Wood, where we will have a lunch stop.
After lunch we pick up the Winchcombe Way and Diamond Way, which take us through Guiting Wood, back to Guiting Power. -
August 16 Evening Ramble
We start and end at The Oak Inn in Upton Snodsbury. We leave the village and head across farmland towards Broughton Hackett. Before we get anywhere near the village of Broughton Hacket (it is a Friday evening and it’s 'all you can eat' carvery at The March Hare, so we will stay away from the chaos!), we veer left and head towards the pretty little village of White Ladies Aston.
We complete a small loop around the village of White Ladies Aston before heading back towards Cowsden and then to our start point. -
August Short Ramble
An invigorating circular walk following the Winchcombe Way and returning via the Gloucestershire Way with spectacular views across the countryside.
Note if recently rained some paths may be muddy and slippery. -
August Sunday Ramble
Starts at Birlingham, follows the Avon, then through Eckington, climb up Bredon Hill, then back down to Great Comberton and back to Birlingham.
There are no toilets on the route.

August 30 Evening Ramble
Starting from ‘The Green’, we head south along Snowshill Road to West End where we pick up a footpath heading steeply uphill from Pye Corner, across very prominent ridge and furrow. From here we can take in the views across to The Bank and Dulverton Hill, possibly catching a glimpse of Broadway Tower. At Manor Farm we take the path out towards the village of Laverton from where we pick up the Winchcombe Way towards the village of Buckland. Here we leave the Winchcombe Way and follow the footpath through Broadway Coppice and then head downhill crossing West End Lane, taking the path round the Flood Alleviation scheme back into Broadway.
