Starting from ‘The Green’, we head south along Snowshill Road to West End where we pick up a footpath heading steeply uphill from Pye Corner, across very prominent ridge and furrow. From here we can take in the views across to The Bank and Dulverton Hill, possibly catching a glimpse of Broadway Tower. At Manor Farm we take the path out towards the village of Laverton from where we pick up the Winchcombe Way towards the village of Buckland. Here we leave the Winchcombe Way and follow the footpath through Broadway Coppice and then head downhill crossing West End Lane, taking the path round the Flood Alleviation scheme back into Broadway. |

A fabulous circular ramble through the attractive countryside around the old Roman town of Alcester. We follow parts of the Arden Way taking in Oversley Wood, Haselor Church, through Great Alne Mills and onto Great Alne before following the Arden Way and the River Arrow back to Alcester. The day promises a variety of beautiful views. |
