• August 16 Evening Ramble

    We start and end at The Oak Inn in Upton Snodsbury. We leave the village and head across farmland towards Broughton Hackett. Before we get anywhere near the village of Broughton Hacket (it is a Friday evening and it’s 'all you can eat' carvery at The March Hare, so we will stay away from the chaos!), we veer left and head towards the pretty little village of White Ladies Aston.
    We complete a small loop around the village of White Ladies Aston before heading back towards Cowsden and then to our start point.

    An invigorating circular walk following the Winchcombe Way and returning via the Gloucestershire Way with spectacular views across the countryside.
    Note if recently rained some paths may be muddy and slippery.

  • August Sunday Ramble

    Starts at Birlingham, follows the Avon, then through Eckington, climb up Bredon Hill, then back down to Great Comberton and back to Birlingham.

    There are no toilets on the route.

  • August 30 Evening Ramble

    Starting from ‘The Green’, we head south along Snowshill Road to West End where we pick up a footpath heading steeply uphill from Pye Corner, across very prominent ridge and furrow. From here we can take in the views across to The Bank and Dulverton Hill, possibly catching a glimpse of Broadway Tower. At Manor Farm we take the path out towards the village of Laverton from where we pick up the Winchcombe Way towards the village of Buckland. Here we leave the Winchcombe Way and follow the footpath through Broadway Coppice and then head downhill crossing West End Lane, taking the path round the Flood Alleviation scheme back into Broadway.

    A circular walk from Newent to the summit of May Hill returning through Newent Woods.

    A casual circular morning walk. along the River Severn. Through meadows of turf, returning to the Talbot Inn. Walkers need to order at the bar if staying after the walk

    From Hampton Lucy we head north up Scar Bank and continue to a small hamlet before following tracks past Daisy Hill Farm and the road up to Mount Pleasant Farm. Good panoramic views on this scenic walk in the Warwickshire countryside.

    A fabulous circular ramble through the attractive countryside around the old Roman town of Alcester. We follow parts of the Arden Way taking in Oversley Wood, Haselor Church, through Great Alne Mills and onto Great Alne before following the Arden Way and the River Arrow back to Alcester. The day promises a variety of beautiful views.

  • October Saturday Short

    Starting from New End, we follow the Millennium Way and Spittle Brook to Coldcomfort Wood, where we pick up the Monarch's Way back to our starting point via the small village of Cladswell.

  • October Midweek Ramble

    This is a circular walk starting and finishing in the Gloucestershire village of Ebrington (known locally as Yabberton or Yubberton). The walk skirts around the edge of the Foxcote Estate heading to Windmill Hill before heading west toward Hidcote where we will stop at Hidcote Garden (National Trust) for a picnic lunch. After lunch we head off towards Kiftsgate Court before making the turn back towards Ebrington via Baker’s Hill and through Mickleton Hill Farm, Battledene Farm before connecting with the Campden road to enter back into the village.

  • October Short Ramble

    A pleasant, not too strenuous walk with a short stretch on country lanes through Wick then riverside ramble along the River Avon. Followed by a walk through the ancient Tiddesley Wood before heading back to Pershore.

  • October Sunday Ramble

    n the morning we start from Radford and head out of the village towards Alcester. We then head across farmland towards Slade Wood and then to the village of Rous Lench. We then complete a circuit of the village before stopping for a short refreshment break in the churchyard – please bring a drink and a snack. Next is a steady climb out of the village, past a deer farm for some spectacular views north across Worcestershire. Next up is a steady downhill wander through Slade Wood and across more farmland to the Radford to Alcester road and back to the start point.

    The afternoon takes us out of Radford across farmland towards Inkberrow. As we reach Inkberrow we skirt the boundary of the village and then our second short climb of the day before crossing more farm land and circling back towards Abbots Morton. In Abbots Morton we then turn for Radford and a leisurely walk across fields to our start point.
